Styled after helmets worn in the Mediterranean Basin during the early years of the Crusades, this helmet is constructed of 16 gauge mild steel, with a black medium weight leather drape for extra coverage and appeal. The back plate of this helmet has been swept back to allow for a deeper chin coverage.
The perforated steel faceplate fits SCA standards for Rapier or Cut and Thrust combat.
Sized to fit 21 1/2 - 22 inch head.
